From 2009 until the conclusion of his volunteer service in April 2026, Guy dedicated more than 17 years to St. Mary's Bank, America's first credit union, serving as a member of its Board of Directors and helping safeguard the institution's mission, financial strength, and commitment to its members. Throughout his tenure, he brought exceptional expertise, integrity, and thoughtful stewardship to every aspect of governance, consistently putting the interests of the membership and community ahead of personal recognition.

 

Guy's impact was especially profound during his service as Chairman of the Board from 2019 through 2022. As the COVID-19 pandemic challenged financial institutions, businesses, families, and communities alike, his calm leadership and steady guidance helped St. Mary's Bank navigate unprecedented uncertainty while remaining focused on its mission of service. During this period, the Board and management worked together to support members facing financial hardship, protect employees, maintain operational continuity, and ensure the institution remained strong and responsive during a time of extraordinary need. Guy's commitment to service extends well beyond St. Mary's Bank. He retired in 2016 as Finance Officer for the Diocese of Manchester following a distinguished career in financial leadership. Prior to the Diocese, he retired as an Audit Partner with Ernst & Young LLP, where he spent decades providing professional guidance and oversight to organizations throughout the region. Earlier in his career, he served as Director of Audits for the Office of the Legislative Budget Assistant for the State of New Hampshire, reinforcing accountability and sound stewardship in public service.

 

Throughout his career, Guy has generously shared his talents with numerous organizations dedicated to improving the lives of others. He served two terms on the Board of Directors of Catholic Medical Center, including service as Board Chairman and as the Bishop's Delegate. He previously served as Chairman of the Board of Moore Center Services, Inc., Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Bedford, and remains active today as a member of the Capitol City Task Force of New Hampshire AARP.

 

As a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New Hampshire, Guy has consistently used his financial expertise to strengthen mission-driven organizations and the communities they serve. Colleagues and fellow volunteers know him as a thoughtful leader whose decisions are grounded in integrity, humility, and a deep sense of responsibility. His leadership style reflects the best qualities of cooperative governance: listening carefully, acting prudently, and always keeping the long-term interests of members and communities at the forefront.

 

A graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and holder of an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College, Guy has built a life and career defined by service. Together with his wife, Coni, he has remained deeply engaged in the Bedford community while raising their two adult children.
