Museum CU 4 Reality™ Financial Education Program Continues Expansion
The primary focus of America's Credit Union Museum during the spring is the CU 4 Reality Fairs sponsored by credit unions. It is the time of year when all of the students who have completed the CU 4 Reality Financial Education Curriculum and have worked with credit unions to understand the basic principals of making sound financial decisions are provided with an opportunity to participate in a practical hands-on application of all they have learned.
When America's Credit Union Museum launched its CU 4 Reality pilot program in 2004, one credit union, one school and 220 students participated. This year, twenty credit unions or state leagues have sponsored the CU 4 Reality Program for thirty-three schools and organizations, including three in Germany, reaching 5,000 students. This brings the total number of middle and high school students who have now benefited from the program since its inception to more then 14,000. Nationally, the program has expanded from New Hampshire to the states of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Iowa, Ohio, Illinois and California, Maine, Texas, and Virginia.

Become a Part of History, Become a Sustaining Member
As a member of the credit union movement, you understand the importance of preserving our rich history and celebrating the remarkable efforts of those who built the credit union movement over the past 100 years.
America's Credit Union Museum fills a role no other credit union organization or affiliate does. It is where the history of our great movement lives. It collects, archives, preserves, and displays evidence of our roots. It cares for and makes accessible to this generation and all generations to come real examples of our values, our philosophy, and our struggles and successes.
The museum is not only the home of our remarkable ancestral artifacts, it is a distinctive tribute to the founders and leaders -- their vision, their commitment and determination, their sacrifices and special triumphs -- that made it possible for us to be the viable and progressive movement we are today.
Everyone's support is important to maintain and continue the work of your Museum. We invite you to become part of history. We encourage you to become a Sustaining Member. This level is available to Credit unions, credit union organizations, vendors, and individuals that make an annual contribution of $1,000 to the Museum.
In appreciation of your contribution, you are granted use of the Museum Conference space and its technical resources, receive recognition on the museum's web site, in the museum newsletter, and have your name prominently displayed in the museum.
Please contact Peggy Powell , America's Credit Union Museum's Executive Director at 603-629-1553 or ppowell@acumuseum.org with any questions.
